Job Role: DevOps Engineer at Siemens
Siemens is hiring for a DevOps Engineer who will work on cutting-edge technologies and contribute to efficient software delivery processes. The role demands strong technical expertise and a passion for automation, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud environments.
Job Responsibilities
- Working closely with other internal teams to build security, reliability, and scalability into the development life-cycle.
- Analyse, design, implement and validate strategies for continuous integration, build, test and deployment for cloud-based infrastructure.
- Design and implement automated, scalable environments to support the needs of development teams.
- Design, develop and document automated cloud based continuous integration architecture and maintain a 24×7, global, highly available SaaS environment according to internal and external service levels agreements.
- Managing a service critical codebase with version control using GitLab.
- Expertise in Datadog to supervise, and alert anomalies in the application, infrastructure and the network.
Other experiences
- Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and Terra-Grunt.
- Soft skill to bridge the gap between development and operations through a DevOps culture.
- AWS Certifications related to DevOps, Security and Cloud Architecture are in plus
