Job Overview

As a DevOps Engineer at Oracle, you will be responsible for managing cloud infrastructure, automating deployment pipelines, and optimizing system performance. The role involves working with CI/CD tools, containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes), and cloud platforms to ensure seamless software delivery and high availability.

What You Have

BS or MS degree in computer science, or equivalent
3 to 5 years of software engineering and proven results in designing, implementing and maintaining complex systems and services
Experience in building tools and automation using Python

Strong problem-solving skills.
Familiarity with several of the following technologies/areas: Helm, Terraform, Infrastructure-as-a-Service, CI/CD, Kubernetes
Experience working with geographically distributed teams

Familiarity with DevOps practices

Responsibilities

Collaborate seamlessly with multi-functional teams to gain a comprehensive understanding of DevOps principles and automation
Develop scripts, tools, and apps for automating deployment processes including provisioning, monitoring, and upgrades

Work closely with the Development team to ensure their needs are being met and that processes exist to support development processes
Contribute to documentation of automation, scripts, and processes
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, methodologies, and emerging technologies related to automation and DevOps

Adhere to SDLC standard methodologies, including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
Collaborate on roadmap items by identifying areas that need improvement
Work with multiple teams, actively participating in discussions and improvement plans
