Job Role: Linux Administrator
As a Linux Administrator at Kyndryl, you will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and troubleshooting Linux-based systems. This role requires deep technical expertise and problem-solving skills to ensure seamless system performance and security.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- 3+ years of experience in Linux administration
- Carries out Linux/Unix administration activities, including health checks, incident management, change management, query, and service level management activities.
- Provides L1/L2 support in case of any challenges/issues reported during the execution of Unix operation tasks during incidents and changes.
- Required to work in rotating shifts (24×7) and provide standby support if needed.
- Required to work on multi-OS platforms if applicable.
- Required to support multiple customers.
- Performs all L1/L2 activities and takes the initiative to work on L3 activities.
- Ready to work in 24×7 shifts on a rotational basis.
- Ansible scripting and Bash scripting for automation.
- Server build/decommission.
- LVM (Logical Volume Management).
- Network configuration and pathing.
Preferred Technical and Professional Experience
Communicates effectively with team and clients to resolve issues promptly.
