About the Role
As a Linux/UNIX Administrator at Kyndryl, you will play a critical role in managing and maintaining the organization’s Linux/UNIX infrastructure. Your expertise will ensure the stability, reliability, and scalability of their systems, empowering businesses to achieve their goals.
Required Technical and Professional Experience
- 6-8 Years of IT Infrastructure domain,
- L2 with Linux/Unix Admin having minimum 2-3 core infrastructure technologies (virtualization, Database, Cloud, Storage & Backup.
- Hyperscaler Certifications (Azure / AWS /GCP) minimum one certification.
- Any Graduation or B.E or any Equivalent Degree
- Strong communication and presentation skills is a must.
Preferred Technical and Professional Experience
- Exceptional judgment and decision-making abilities
- Familiar with a variety of IT concepts, practices, and procedures
- Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principals involved in production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models
- Logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Security & Compliance, Patch Management.
- Optimization and Performance.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in Linux/UNIX system administration.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in scripting (Bash, Python, or Perl), system monitoring tools, and virtualization technologies.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications such as Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) are a plus.
- Soft Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
