About the DevOps Engineer Role

As a DevOps Engineer at Oracle, you will be instrumental in designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines to enhance the efficiency of the software development lifecycle. Roles & Responsibilities

Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in DevOps practices and tools, guiding the team and driving best practices.

Lead efforts to build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines, ensuring smooth and reliable delivery workflows.

Implement and manage cloud infrastructure using tools like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Design and manage containerized environments using Docker and orchestrate with Kubernetes or similar tools.
Integrate and implement DevSecOps practices to ensure systems are protected against security threats.

Automate processes using scripting languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell, and tools like Ansible, Terraform, or Chef.
Monitor and troubleshoot issues in the CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
Leverage monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack to ensure system reliability and performance.

Collaborate with development teams to integrate Cloud-Native solutions and ensure seamless API integrations.

Must-Have Skills

Proficiency in DevOps and DevSecOps principles and practices.
Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
Expertise in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

Strong knowledge of containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
