Role: SRE / DevOps Engineer Role description:

Responsible for monitoring, automating, and improving the reliability, performance, and availability of systems by adhering to ITIL Operations processes.
Must to have skills: Multi cloud GCP , AWS & Azure cloud hands on exposure to manage PaaS & IaaS workloads. Kubernetes /Containers technology , Cloud native DevOps services & sound Python / Powershell, IaC tools Terraform & Ansible hands on exposure . OS Server’s administration skills and experience in both LINUX & WINDOWS OS versions. Good Infrastructure Knowledge & exposure (Server / Storage / Network) & ITIL knowledge Job Requirements:

• Key responbilites: o Quickly understand the architecture and start contributing towards team goals.
• Effectively keeping SLAs and MTTR in mind always.
• Automate the backup, failover and disaster recovery procedures using Automation Tools or GenAI.
• Act as a SME and help team members in fixing issues o Develop, deliver and improve automation in the projects duly assigned.
• Work with the larger team and collaborate towards effective delivery of team objectives. o Deploy and maintain production services using container technology such as GKE, EKS , ECS & AKS.
• Infrastructure as code is something we vouch by. Terraform and Ansible are the two tools which we use extensively. Candidate is expected to be have hands on experience and contribute towards furthering automation causes in this area.
• Additionally we use Python & Powershell some product scripting/functional scenarios. knowledge of any of these o Be part of discussions on automation and effectively suggest improvements using Gen AI o Understand architecture, discover failure points and work with other teams to prevent issues in the future.
• Technical Experience: 3 – 6 years of experience in managing cloud infrastructure services and multiple cloud server instances.
• Technology: GCP & Azure Native Kubernetes services & DevOps services , GitOps, Apache Openwhisk, Apache Flink, and Camunda. Postgresql, MySQL, Amazon S3, Amazon RedShift, ClickHouse, and Redis. Jenkins, ArgoCD, and Sonarqube, Grafana, Kibana, Fluentd, and Hypertrace. HELK and Jackhammer
• Exposure on DevOps & SRE on cloud solution in Multi cloud GCP, Azure & AWS Cloud Platform
• Strong Linux & Windows Systems Administration Experience: Any flavor o Good hands on fixing Infra Security vulnerabilities
• Managing PaaS Experience workload in Google Cloud Platform, AZURE (AKS, EKS, GKS, Repo, Image Management, API, Containers, App Virtualization)
• Languages – YAML (Python, Ansible) and JSON o Infra as code tools – Experience in tools like Ansible, Terraform , Chef.
• Scripting – Scripting languages like Ruby/Python/Shell/Perl .
• Good Understanding around networking: Firewalls/ TCP IP .
• Has good ability in analyzing, troubleshooting, & resolving network service connectivity issues (DNS, DHCP, firewall, etc). using basic tools e.g. ping/telnet/tracert/nslookup.
• Strong background in managing and maintaining large scale Linux environments.
• Good understanding of management protocols or standards like SNMP, CIM, IPMI, LDAP, ITSM.
• Exposure to Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
• Proficiency in Shell scripting languages. Experience with CI/CD setup and tools o Experience with cloud concepts including IaaS, PaaS, VMs, VNF, VNFM, Heat Templates, Containers, CNE, Docker, Kubernetes etc.
• Experience with Travis, Terraform/ CloudFormation, Fargate or Codepipeline.
• Experience with Nginx, Postgres, Mongodb, Redis.
• Experience with cloud message APIs and usage of push notifications.
• Configuration Management Experience: Chef, puppet, ansible.
• Experience with supporting application and database servers
• Must have atleast one AWS/Azure/GCP certification.
