Role Overview: Azure Cloud DevOps Engineer
As an Azure Cloud DevOps Engineer at Kyndryl, you’ll be instrumental in designing, building, and managing scalable cloud infrastructure. The role requires leveraging DevOps tools and best practices to ensure smooth deployment, monitoring, and maintenance of cloud-based applications and services.
Primary Job Responsibilities -Cloud DevOps engineer
- ET/Production support, besides the primary ‘OPS’ skills, affinity and desire to develop new functionality is a prerequisite
- Solving incidents within limited timeframes and under pressure
- BAU duties in shifts – monitoring incident queues and team mailbox, phone duty, etc.
- Troubleshooting
- Implementation (deploying) in PR environment (also outside the official working hours)
- Monitoring the entire chain of the application landscape.
- Second line support outside business hours (24/7 stand-by)
- Creating/updating maintenance documentation
- Creating/updating/improving Operator instructions
Required Skills and Experience
- 3-7 years of experience in application support
- ITIL 4 certified
- Cloud, Azure certified AZ900 & AZ104 & AZ400, Linux ( redhat ), Wintel (azure/pcs nextgen)
- Scripting – Python / Powershell
- Pipelines CICD
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to analyse complex systems and requirements.
- Testing, debugging, and troubleshooting to validate functionality and identify and resolve issues.
- Participate in group projects with global regional team members.
- Demonstrate an ability and desire to be creative.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand complex systems and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Familiar with Agile development methodologies and DevOps practices.
Preferred Skills
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or other related fields
