About the Role

As a Data Analyst at Wipro, you’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to gather, process, and analyze data, providing actionable insights that drive strategic decisions. You’ll contribute to projects across a wide range of industries, helping Wipro’s clients improve their operational efficiency, customer experiences, and overall business strategies.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Monitor:
  • Perform trend and volume analysis of Messages/SMS volume to identify patterns of abuse
  • Identify other emerging trends that are not implemented at scale yet
  • Utilize SQL to extract, transform (link and join), and analyze large datasets for reporting and investigation purposes
  • Investigate/Analyze:
  • Determine root cause of the deviation from the trend
  • Conduct a thorough investigation to identify legit vs abusive use
  • Analyze historical information to understand the trend and identify data anomalies
  • Critically analyze data, discern patterns, and draw meaningful conclusions
  • Present:
  • Create clear charts, dashboards, and presentations to effectively communicate findings to various stakeholders
  • Remediate:
  • Propose solutions to curb abuse based on findings
  • Build heuristics based rules (to be reviewed with FTEs)
  • Escalation/ Incident Support:
  • Be the first line of support to investigate incidents reported by stakeholders (Client leadership, mobile carriers, regulators, customers)
  • Reporting/Visualization:
  • Prepare detailed reports summarizing investigation findings, recommendations and actionable insights to empower decision makers for informed decisions and continuously improve the user experience
  • Communicate data insights to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Transform complex data into actionable insights through visuals
  • Service Levels
  • Reporting:
  • Trend Analysis: Daily
  • Anomaly Detection: Identify and flag significant deviations from established trends within 24 hours.
  • Investigation Reports: within 3 business days of completing the investigation.
  • Issue Resolution: Address and resolve any data-related issues or discrepancies within 24 hours (1 business day) for urgent matters and 48 hours (2 business days) for standard issues.
  • Response Time: Acknowledge escalation/incident requests within 4 business hours.
  • Regular Updates: Provide regular progress updates to PA and VMO, at least bi-weekly for ongoing analysis.
  • Availability: Be available for consultation and clarification during regular business hours
    Qualifications:

Must have

  • SQ, Java scripts, Advanced Excel
  • Data Analysis with SQL
  • In BPO/Non-BPO as DA profile
  • English (Strong Verbal and Written.
