About the Role: Linux Administrator
As a Linux Administrator at Infosys, you will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and troubleshooting Linux-based systems. This role will involve working on various tasks, including server configurations, system monitoring, performance optimization, and ensuring security compliance. You will play a key role in supporting critical infrastructure and enhancing operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Experience with strong Linux domain knowledge and troubleshooting skills, scripting, debug and build tools.
- Experience in RedHat Linux OS & LVM, RAID. Knowledge/Hands on in RedHat cluster Experience in performance tuning of OS, Application and Databases.
- Relevant experience on a high-volume enterprise help desk or similar support role.
- Excellent hands-on experience on different Linux distributions Exposure on virtualization and cloud platforms. Exposure to performance tuning of OS, Application and Databases.
- Solid knowledge of and experience with Red Hat-based Linux distributions Experience with different flavors of Linux (RHEL, Debian, and Ubuntu) Installation of operating system and system updates, patches, version upgrades per vendor recommendations.
- Excellent scripting skills in bash RHCE certified candidates will be given preference.
