Role Overview

As a Linux Engineer at Conduent, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing Linux-based systems and servers. Your role will involve maintaining system performance, ensuring security, and providing technical support to various teams within the organization. This position requires a strong understanding of Linux operating systems, scripting, and troubleshooting.

Job Description

Having overall 3+ years of experience as a Linux administrator.
Experience on Maintaining and deploying production infrastructure workloads on Microsoft Azure
Experience with Azure PAAS services and Azure Administration.
Good knowledge about Windows OS and Administration preferred.
Analyzing and producing recommendations on continuous infrastructure improvements to save overall cost
Installation, Configuration and troubleshooting in Redhat Linux
Experience in Patching Linux servers
Experience on Deploying Virtual Machines, Virtual Networks, Subnets, and Troubleshooting VM Issues with the help of Boot Diagnostics.
Coordinating with the team; managing regular tasks and incidents; achieving SLAs in a timely manner with required improvements.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Linux Engineer or in a similar role.
Proficiency in Linux operating systems (Red Hat, CentOS, Ubuntu, etc.).
Strong scripting skills (Bash, Python, Perl).
Knowledge of networking concepts and security best practices.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
